I am a researcher specializing in firm strategy, with a particular focus on technology firms. My research seeks to uncover the causal factors that enable technology firms to achieve superior performance, using statistical and computational approaches.
My academic work currently centers on two main research streams: (a) innovation strategy, with an emphasis on technological competition and R&D human capital, and (b) the use of AI to explain and predict firm performance.
To study these questions, I apply causal inference methods alongside advanced computational techniques, including cloud computing, machine learning, and generative AI.
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Aarhus University, Denmark. I hold a PhD in Strategic Management from IESE Business School.
I worked as a founding member at a startup focused on AI-powered scientific investing in derivatives markets. My responsibilities included developing causal machine learning algorithms and applying generative AI.
